Expertise in Wind Turbine Foundation Design

We are seeking a skilled Civil and Structural WTG Foundation Design Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing wind turbine generator foundations to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize WTG foundations (gravity-based, spread footing, piled, rock-anchored, shallow mat, ribbed beam, etc.)
  • Perform structural load and stress calculations (gravity, wind, seismic, fatigue)
  • Select and validate construction materials for efficiency and sustainability
  • Prepare and review design basis reports, BOQs, drawings, and calculations
  • Ensure compliance with BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, Eurocode, and other standards
  • Collaborate with geotechnical, hydrology, BoP, electrical, and CTS teams
  • Support certification processes with external agencies
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Provide technical support to procurement, EPC partners, and consultants

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization)
  • Master's in Structural or Civil (preferred)
  • Experience: 8–12 years in Power & Utilities sector with focus on renewable energy foundations
  • Technical Skills:
  • Software: STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, PLAXIS 2D/3D
  • Expertise: WTG foundation design, geotechnical risk assessment, hydrology, seismic analysis, civil design codes (BIS, ASCE, AISC, Eurocode, etc.)

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, structural design, and project management. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.
