Job Title: Automation Engineer Analyst

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced automation engineer to join our team. As an automation engineer analyst, you will be responsible for delivering the quality engineering automation roadmap for each team.

You will build and maintain automation for critical and complex business applications, create test automation scripts for in-sprint and regression testing, and develop skills in new automation tools to improve automation penetration.

Additionally, you will contribute towards the implementation of new ideas and solutions, adhere to quality engineering best practices, and identify and support automation and DevOps opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and at least two years of experience in a system quality environment, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

The required skills and qualifications include 2-4 years of experience in QE-test automation, 2-4 years of experience in programming languages like Java, 2-4 years of experience in automation of mobile app testing with Appium, and 2-4 years of experience in REST API testing.

Bonus points for experience with test automation in BDD process, developing custom automation solutions, doing deep failure analysis, and running test execution through CI/CD pipelines.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for a strong problem solver with excellent written and oral communication skills, comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience in system quality environment
  • Experience in QE - Test Automation
  • Experience in Programming language like Java
  • Experience in automation of mobile app testing with Appium
  • Experience in REST API testing (Manual/Automation using Postman and other tools using java)
  • Experience of test automation in BDD process
  • Experience of developing custom automation solutions & functions
  • Experience of doing deep failure analysis to address automation failures
  • Good experience of working in all phases of Test Cycles (Test Design, Test Reviews, Test Execution, Defect management & reporting)
  • Experience of running the test execution through CI/CD pipelines
