QA Automation Tester Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python, Selenium, and BDD frameworks (SpecFlow/Behave) for end-to-end testing of web applications, REST APIs, and integration projects in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Test Manager, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers to assess test scenarios and define test requirements using risk-based testing methodology.
  • Plan and perform end-to-end test activities: test strategy, plan, conditions, scripts, data, reporting, and execution.
  • Covering product test, integration test, technical test, and deployment test.
  • Design and execute detailed functional test cases for complex requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Python (BDD frameworks like SpecFlow / Python Behave).
  • Perform Web Application, Web Services, and REST API automation testing.
  • Manage defect lifecycle and ensure quality deliverables within timelines.
  • Identify process improvements and optimization opportunities in QA delivery.
  • Ensure test delivery assurance while complying with industry standards.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear test updates and risk reporting.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of QA experience (minimum 4+ years in Selenium BDD framework).
  • Strong expertise in Python for automation testing.
  • Hands-on in Selenium WebDriver, BDD (SpecFlow / Behave).
  • QA automation for Web Applications, Web Services, REST APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and manual testing practices.
  • Skilled in test case design, execution (manual + automation), and QA methodologies.
