Automation Tester Role

We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, creating and executing test scripts to validate software application quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Planning: Design and plan test plans based on QA strategy
  • Test Case Development: Prepare test scenarios and test cases
  • Test Environment Setup: Prepare test data/test bed
  • Automation Scripting: Prepare automation scripts using Selenium
  • Testing Execution: Conduct sanity, functional and regression testing
  • Test Reporting: Prepare test reports from execution of automated scripts

The successful candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance with 3+ years of Selenium experience, as well as manual testing experience and a strong understanding of best practices and testing principles.

A strong skill set in automated testing tools involving Selenium and Open Source Tools, SQL query skills and understanding of database schemas is essential.

The ability to initiate new QA ideas and concepts to improve efficiency and effectiveness is highly valued.

Closing the loop with project team members including client support, product owners, development leads and project managers is also required.
