Job Title: Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

As a procurement manager, you will oversee the entire purchasing process to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of electrical products. Your key responsibilities include vendor management, negotiation, and technical understanding of electrical materials.

  • Vendor Management
  • Identify and evaluate vendors for electrical products (cables, switchgears, panels, etc.).
  • Float RFQs, prepare price comparison sheets, and negotiate for the best pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Review and interpret SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to ensure purchases align with project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage vendor lists, develop new suppliers, and conduct vendor audits for quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with project/logistics teams for dispatches, tracking, and resolving any delays or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records (quotations, POs, payments, approvals).
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–4 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading company.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
