Job Overview

This is a key role in the development of resiliency-focused testing strategies for large-scale applications and infrastructure.

The position involves creating, executing, and maintaining test plans, scripts, and scenarios that validate fault tolerance, system recovery, and high availability.

It also entails performing stress, load, chaos, and failure testing to simulate real-world disruptions and identify vulnerabilities.

Additionally, the candidate will conduct root cause analysis on test failures and collaborate with teams to suggest improvements in design or operations.

They will monitor system behavior during disruption scenarios, highlighting performance bottlenecks and proposing resiliency enhancements.

Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5–8 years of experience in software testing, QA, or systems engineering with a focus on resiliency testing.
  • A strong understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Apache JMeter and Rational Performance Tester.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages like Python and Java.

The ideal candidate will possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with DevOps, engineering, and infrastructure teams.
