Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our organization and lead the development of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in ETL testing, data quality assurance, or a similar role is necessary.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation, querying, and analysis is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of ETL processes.
  2. Cross-functional collaboration to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness is crucial.
  3. Maintenance and improvement of existing ETL tools and scripts are key responsibilities.
  4. Test plan development and execution for ETL processes are also essential tasks.
  5. Process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors are expected.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with large-scale data environments, data lakes, or cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly valued.
  • BI reporting tool expertise, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, is desirable.
  • Scripting language skills, including Python and Shell scripting, for test automation are necessary.

We value strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and collaboration abilities. CI/CD pipeline experience, integrating testing in DevOps environments, and data warehouse concepts are valuable assets.
