Job Overview:

Corporate Legal Manager

We are seeking an accomplished Corporate Legal Manager to oversee legal matters and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and finalize legal documents associated with financial transactions, capital raise, and IT security initiatives.

  • Provide expert legal support to cross-functional teams, encompassing business, operations, finance, risk management, compliance, human resources, and information technology.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with external legal counsel, statutory auditors, and regulatory bodies.

  • Coordinate litigation matters and draft/review relevant documents for legal proceedings.

  • Offer informed guidance to internal stakeholders on corporate legal matters and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Maintain and update databases related to litigation, contracts, agreements, and other pertinent documents.

Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in handling complex legal matters within a commercial banking environment.
