The role involves conducting valuations of plant and machinery assets by engaging with clients, analyzing financial and technical data, and preparing valuation reports.

About the Role:

  • Business development activities include conducting business outreach to Banks, Corporates, Government entities, Insurance companies, Insurance brokers, IRP s, and Auditors to sell valuation services.
  • Clients may require site visits for inspections of plant locations to gather necessary information for valuation analysis. Discussions with plant technical teams can also be conducted during these visits.
  • Team leads are assisted in finalizing information request lists and questionnaires.
  • Fixed Asset Registers (FARs) are analyzed to identify information gaps.
  • Valuation models and reports for Capital Equipment (Property, Plant & Equipment) are prepared or updated under guidance from senior colleagues.
  • Integrated valuations are formulated.
  • Market research is performed to estimate replacement costs, useful lives, and depreciation techniques for different types of machinery and equipment.
  • Staying updated on current business, economic, and regulatory developments relevant to our clients is crucial.
  • Strong professional relationships are built with onshore teams through project work.

About You:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience is required.
  • Understanding of valuation methodologies (income, market, and cost approaches) is essential.
  • Command over accounting and financial statement analysis is required.
  • Strong business writing skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of relevant local GAAP or IFRS standards is a must.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, specifically MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, is required.
