Job Title: Tower Design and Estimation Expert

Our organization seeks an accomplished professional to lead our tower design and estimation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Development: Utilize industry-standard software to create detailed tower drawings and perform calculations in compliance with international standards.
  • Estimation and Planning: Develop comprehensive BOQs, BOMs, and cost estimations for project execution and tendering purposes.
  • Client Coordination: Evaluate client specifications, review tender documents, and provide technical and commercial proposals as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, fabrication, and site execution, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Cost Optimization: Perform load analysis, proto development support, and optimization of tower design to achieve cost-effectiveness.
  • Project Leadership: Lead the estimation process for domestic and international transmission and substation projects.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and value engineering to inform new project development.
  • Resource Management: Support planning, scheduling, and resource management efforts to meet project deadlines.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies for design approvals and clarifications.
  • System Implementation: Implement ERP/SAP systems for estimation, planning, and inventory management.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • 5-12+ years of experience in tower design, estimation, and project planning within the power transmission or telecom tower industry.
  • Hands-on expertise in design software (STAAD, PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, MS Tower) and ERP tools (SAP/JDE).
  • Strong knowledge of international standards (IS, IEC, ASCE, ASTM, etc.).
  • Experience in global tendering and estimation for OHTL, substations, and telecom tower projects.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
