About the Role

Policy Lead Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with various liabilities and payment products, as well as developing and implementing process and policy frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure implementation and adherence of all compliance-related items and assist in external and internal audits.
  • Strengthen systems, controls, and processes for robust internal and external compliance.
  • Liaise with different departments to ensure strict adherence to RBI circulars.
  • Have a good understanding of RBI processes and policies, audit parameters, AML guidelines, and fraud management.
  • Be responsible for all regulatory reporting related to policies and processes, including reporting to RBI/AML/CPU teams.
  • Determine the impact of introducing new or revised policies on branches, customers, and products.
  • Serve as a focal point to ensure continuity, proper integration, and implementation of new or revised policies and processes.
  • Build synergies and efficiencies through customer-centric processes.
  • Interact and coordinate with multiple product teams and business functions for effective and efficient delivery within specified timelines.
  • Draft and review process guidelines for product teams; act as a mediator for answering questions related to policies and processes.
  • Identify duplicate, redundant, and unproductive tasks in processes to reduce costs and improve productivity of front-line staff.

Requirements:

Education: Preferably an MBA from a Tier 1/Tier 2 college.

Work Experience: Prior experience in setting up policies and processes for liabilities products is an added advantage.
