Job Title: Sustainability Professional

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our sustainability agenda in India. The role will focus on addressing social and environmental issues, including diversity and belonging, corporate social responsibility, environmental stewardship, and health and wellness.

This position will drive local implementation, ensuring global strategies are adapted and executed in the Indian context. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with global program managers to align initiatives, share knowledge, and ensure consistency across regions.

The Sustainability Professional will also serve as a coordinator for employee networks and colleague groups in India, supporting initiatives around the four focus areas. This includes serving on the CSR Committee and the local CSR Board, providing input on funding requests and identifying new organizations for potential support.

  • Local Program Implementation: Adapt and execute global strategies for environmental responsibility, CSR, diversity and belonging, and health and wellness within India.
  • Initiative Design and Delivery: Design and deliver initiatives that reflect local needs and priorities while remaining consistent with global frameworks.
  • Annual Planning and Progress Tracking: Develop annual plans for India, set measurable local targets, and track progress.
  • Senior Leadership Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior leaders in India, engaging and influencing them to actively support our impact agenda in India.
  • Employee Engagement and Resource Group Coordination: Act as the primary coordinator for India-based employee networks (environmental, health and wellness, CSR, and DEI-focused colleague groups).
  • Collaboration and Alignment with Global Teams: Serve as the key link between India and the global program managers for each impact area.
  • Partnerships and Community Engagement: Build relationships with local NGOs, community partners, and stakeholders to enhance the impact of CSR initiatives.

Key Requirements: 5+ years of experience in sustainability, CSR or DEI, cultural awareness, ability to engage and influence senior leadership, strong program and project management skills, experience coordinating employee networks, volunteer groups, or champions.
