Production Leader Job Overview

This role involves leading the production team to achieve exceptional results. The focus will be on scheduling, monitoring, and reporting production activities to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling, Monitoring, and Reporting: Manage production workflows, monitor progress, and generate reports to track performance metrics.
  • Productivity Improvements: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Process Preparation: Develop and maintain process documents, including parameters and specifications.
  • Talent Development and Allocation: Supervise team members, allocate tasks, and provide training to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Quality Systems Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality systems (TS and EMS) and maintain high standards throughout production.
  • Maintaining 5S and Safety Standards: Promote a culture of safety and adherence to 5S principles, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Monthly Performance Objectives: Establish and track monthly performance objectives, driving continuous improvement.
  • Secondary Operations Management: Oversee secondary operations, such as preventive and corrective maintenance of molding machines.
  • Troubleshooting and Corrective Actions: Identify and resolve molding issues through troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions.
  • Talent Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor team members to enhance adaptability, optimize productivity, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum Education: Mechanical Engineering Graduate / CIPET
  • Experience: Around 12~15 years of experience in production functions within the engineering industry
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership and communication abilities to effectively manage and motivate teams
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of molding processes and materials
  • Teamwork and Development Skills: Excellent teamwork and development skills to foster a collaborative environment
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving abilities to drive continuous improvement and resolve complex issues
  • Knowledge in APQP and SAP: Proficiency in APQP related documentation, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, and SAP
  • Familiarity with DOE and Molding Machine Specifications: Familiarity with DOE for the molding process and molding machine specifications and selection
