Senior Storage Solutions Engineer

We are seeking an experienced storage solutions engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and integrating complex storage solutions in enterprise environments.

  • Designing and implementing storage architectures that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborating closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex storage-related issues.
  • Providing expert guidance to our systems integrations team on deploying storage solutions with various backends.

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of hands-on storage expertise across multiple technologies and vendors, with proven experience in system integration projects involving storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Advisory
  • Advising pre-sales engineers on optimal storage approaches during customer solution design, proof-of-concepts, and RFP responses.
  • Providing expert storage guidance to our systems integrations team for deploying storage solutions with various backends.
  • Collaborating closely with engineering teams to inform design decisions and troubleshoot complex storage-related issues.
Solution Design & Integration
  • Developing deep expertise in backup and disaster recovery solutions, including architecture design, implementation strategies, integrations, best practices, and operational patterns.
  • Designing and documenting best practice architectures for integrating our product with diverse storage solutions, including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, S3, VMware RDM, and others like InfiniBand.
  • Guiding and supporting integrations with vendor-specific storage solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
  • Developing and maintaining internal best practice guides for storage-related topics relevant to our product.
  • Creating external customer-facing guides and knowledge base articles to improve deployment success and reduce support escalations.
