Cloud Security Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture, along with expertise in deploying, managing, and optimizing AWS services.

  • Utilize a broad range of AWS services to create and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution.
  • Implement identity and access management (IAM) controls to manage user and system access securely.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects and developers to create security solutions for cloud environments by designing security controls and ensuring they are integrated into cloud platforms.
  • Monitor cloud environments for suspicious activities and threats using tools like SIEM systems.
  • Automate cloud security processes using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and others.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
