Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting activities for DHR Global and its portfolio companies in both the US and APAC regions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Daily Accounting Activities: Oversee daily accounting activities for DHR Global and its portfolio companies in both the US and APAC regions.
  • General Ledger Functions: Perform general ledger functions, including journal entry posting, account reconciliation, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with US GAAP and APAC accounting standards.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, including vendor management and customer billing, and maintain accurate inventory records for products.
  • Cost Tracking and Analysis: Collaborate with production teams to track costs and performance metrics, and prepare consolidated financial statements (if needed) and financial reports for individual portfolio companies.
  • Financial Decision-Making: Aid financial decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends, and assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis for DHR Global and its portfolio companies.
  • Audit and Compliance: Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Process Improvement: Implement and streamline accounting processes across both regions to improve efficiency and accuracy and recommend improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional Certifications: CA/Inter CA's/CPA's preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of US GAAP and familiarity with APAC accounting standards (US-GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
