Job Title: Data Center Operations Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain data center operations to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repairs as necessary.
  • Document and report incidents and maintenance activities.
  • Assist in the deployment of new equipment and systems.
  • Participate in shift handovers and ensure effective communication between shifts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure support.
  • Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking, and storage systems.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and data center management software.
  • Basic understanding of virtualization technologies and cloud services.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
