Senior Associate Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Associate to join our team in Anantapur, India. As a key member of our Financial Planning and Analysis team, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, identifying trends and variances, and providing insights and recommendations to drive cost optimization and control.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial reports, dashboards, and schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for logic-based analysis automation and implement improvements to existing processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Develop impactful financial presentations using PowerPoint and apply creative thinking to develop innovative reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with business objectives and provide data-driven insights to support strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze revenues and other KPIs for monthly reporting on Assurance P&L and recommend improvements to existing processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Drive innovation in data analytics to enhance decision-making capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, variance analysis, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in PowerPoint and creative thinking.

Educational Requirements:

A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required. A strong academic record and relevant coursework in financial planning and analysis, accounting, and economics are preferred.

  1. Familiarity with financial planning and analysis principles, practices, and software.
  2. Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  3. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  6. Experience with data visualization tools and technologies, such as Tableau or Power BI.
  7. Knowledge of financial modeling techniques and best practices.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
