Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our finance team as a financial accounting associate. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Zoho Books, including journal entries, payments, receipts, and bank transactions.
  • Perform monthly bank and vendor reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end financial closure activities.
  • Prepare and file GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and TDS returns, and assist in internal and statutory audits by providing necessary documentation and data.
  • Support the finance team in preparing profit & loss statements, balance sheets, MIS reports, budget vs actuals, and cash flow analysis.
Requirements
  • Manage accounting entries and daily bookkeeping in Zoho Books.
  • Ensure timely GST and TDS filings and support during audits.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist in monthly reconciliations.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including vendors, banks, and auditors.
  • Support compliance, documentation, and financial record-keeping.
Deliverables
  • Develop the ability to complete financial tasks efficiently and accurately, contributing to faster financial reporting and reconciliation cycles.
  • Identify areas in accounting operations that can be streamlined or improved and propose practical solutions.
  • Take initiative in financial operations and contribute actively to improving internal processes and controls.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting and at least 1 year of experience in accounting roles such as Accounts Associate or Finance Executive. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
