Automation Engineer Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Java Selenium.

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer who can contribute to the architecture evolution of Full-stack Test Automation Frameworks and related capabilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and writing automated scripts for functional testing, integration testing, performance testing, end to end, and/or regression testing.
  • Monitoring results, logging defects, and validation of defect fixes.
  • Creating a robust automation framework ensuring scalability and reusability.

In addition, the engineer will collaborate with different teams, leverage all existing scripts where possible and assist with the creation of common test environments for all applications.

Requirements:

  • Excellent track record in designing and implementing various test automation frameworks using Java Selenium.
  • Develop and enhance next-generation Test Engineering Automation solutions in a Continuous Integration environment (CI/CD pipeline).
  • Partner with different stakeholders - Product Management, Application Development, DevOps and other technical teams in planning and coordination.
  • Document and communicate Automation Framework functions, interfaces, performance criteria, test cases and results to diverse audiences.
  • Proven record in implementing innovations and best practices.
