Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished automation developer to spearhead our test automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and driving test automation using the Selenium WebDriver API or other frameworks like Playwright.

Under this role, we expect someone with expertise in framework development, implementation experience on continuous integration platforms, a solid understanding of , and REST API usage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Automation Architects and QA team members to gather automation requirements, design automated tests, and implement scalable test automation solutions.
  • Design, develop, and manage automated testing artifacts. Provide a practical approach to complex testing, specifically in the areas of the automation of test cases for regression testing purposes.
  • Familiarize yourself with source code, version management, and code deployment standards. Ensure that QA processes and procedures for test environments are followed, and the integrity of the various environments is maintained.
  • Ensure the quality of the automation framework and test cases.
  • Ensure adherence to standardized QA policies, processes, and documentation standards.
  • Help define automated test scripts. Conduct test case reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed.
  • Liaise with product teams to support client implementations.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

  • At least 5 years of experience implementing test automation frameworks.
  • Advanced knowledge of , including its principles and best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of XPath and its applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Selenium WebDriver API and its capabilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of REST API usage and its implications.
  • Advanced knowledge of Git and advanced Git workflows.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and its applications.
  • Prior experience implementing complex workflows on continuous integration systems such as Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines.
  • Prior experience with virtualization using Docker.
Desirable Skills

The following skills are highly desirable but not mandatory:

  • Experience with the Salesforce platform (Lightning and Classic UIs).
  • Experience with Jest/Jasmine.
  • Experience with UI development (CSS, JavaScript, HTML).
  • Experience with PHP.
  • Experience with Salesforce REST API.
  • Experience with developing browser extensions.
