Job Title: Java Enterprise Application Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Java Enterprise Application Specialist. This role involves providing level 2/3 application support for Java-based enterprise applications, ensuring stability, performance, and availability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and production support environments, with excellent problem-solving skills and experience working in fast-paced environments. They should be proficient in Java and possess knowledge of production support environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Provide Level 2/3 application support for Java-based enterprise applications.\
  • Perform root cause analysis, issue resolution, and incident management.\
  • Monitor application performance and proactively address potential issues.\
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.\
  • Manage and execute deployments using automation tools.\
  • Support job scheduling, monitoring, and reporting using tools like Autosys/Control-M.\
  • Work with observability tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Splunk, ELK, Grafana) to identify and resolve system bottlenecks.\
  • Document processes and resolutions as part of knowledge management.\
  • Participate in on-call rotations and handle high-severity incidents as required.\
  • Analyzing system logs to troubleshoot issues.\
  • Implementing process improvements to increase efficiency.\\
