Senior Java Developer (Microservices + Kafka + React)

Experience Level: 7+ years

Job Location: Pune / Mumbai / Chennai / Bangalore (Hybrid Model – 2/3 days office initially)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with a strong background in building scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should bring hands-on expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, and React framework, along with a solid understanding of API development, messaging systems, and cloud platforms. Flexibility to work in a hybrid model and willingness to collaborate in client-facing roles is a must.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices and APIs.
  • Implement and optimize solutions using Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Config Server, and API Gateway.
  • Work on Kafka/RabbitMQ for event-driven and messaging architectures.
  • Develop user-facing applications with React framework.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code with thorough unit testing (UTs).
  • Implement reactive programming concepts and manage multithreading where required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in customer calls, daily stand-ups, and provide timely updates.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Overall Experience: 7+ years in Java development.
  • Java (8 & above): Strong programming skills – Mandatory.
  • Microservices: 5+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Spring Boot + Spring Framework: 4+ years.
  • Kafka: Minimum 1 year (Apache Kafka expertise required).
  • Database: 4+ years (SQL, JPA/Hibernate – at least 2 years).
  • React Framework: Working experience in building UI applications.
  • Reactive Programming: Good to have, with knowledge of multithreading.
  • Cloud (AWS preferred): Good to have.
