Private Cloud Security Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Private Cloud Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation and security of private cloud environments. This role involves overseeing infrastructure security, containerized environments and integrating security into development activities to ensure a robust and compliant cloud security ecosystem.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Security Controls: Design and implement security controls for private cloud infrastructure.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: Understanding of Network, Firewall, Database, Perimeter Security, Endpoint Security.
  • Infrastructure Protection: Manage infrastructure security across clusters, applications and networking layers.
  • Integration with Development Activities: Integrate security best practices into development activities and workloads.
  • Incident Response: Monitor and respond to security incidents in private cloud environments.
  • Cloud Security Components: Holistic understanding of cloud security components and integration with other systems within the development ecosystem.
  • Hybrid Cloud Management: Relevant security understanding for on-prem/hybrid cloud management.
  • Gathering Security Requirements: Gather security requirements from development teams and implement respective cybersecurity solutions into cloud environments.
  • Data Protection: Access control and data security controls into the cloud environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Cloud Security Experience: Experience in securing private cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Development Tools Integration: Hands-on experience with development tools integration security practices.
  • Cybersecurity Principles: Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks.
  • Cloud Security Certifications: Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP).
  • Container Security: Experience with container security tools and vulnerability scanning.
  • Educational Background: Educational qualification: preferably a bachelor's degree in computer science, B.Tech or B.E.

Desirable Skills:

  • Container Security Experience: Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Additional Certifications: Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, AWS, Azure).
  • DevOps Workflows: Integrate security best practices into DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Kubernetes Clusters: Secure Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, and related workloads.
  • Terraform and Sentinel: Knowledge of Terraform and Sentinel for policy enforcement.
