International Legal Entity Controller

As an integral part of our organisation, you will be responsible for taking complete ownership of statutory financial reporting and controls & compliance for your allocated international legal entities.

You will develop an in-depth understanding of these entities, including their business strategies, products, and associated technical accounting and disclosure requirements.

The ideal candidate will oversee all finance operations processes for the legal entity, working closely with internal and external service delivery teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and accurate financial information.

The Entity Controller is an important partner to the Head of Finance Operations and collaborates with Enterprise Finance, Enterprise Business, Tax, and Treasury teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective financial reporting processes to provide value-added financial analysis to management.
  • Monthly review of legal entity results to ensure all drivers of the income statement and balance sheet are understood and evidenced by the production of monthly management accounts.
  • Production of statutory accounts together with working papers to a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure effective operation of all relevant controls conducted in a timely manner and in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate resolution of complex issues between various teams and act as the single point of contact for the entity.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant with 5+ years of experience and good knowledge of IFRS.
  • Proven experience in statutory reporting.
  • Strong cooperation, coordination, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Change management & transformation skills.
  • Working in a shared service environment is an advantage.
