- Establish accounting systems, manage processes for timely bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to statutory requirements.
- Monitor expenses, budgets, and cash flow for sustainable business operations.
- Cooperate with the finance team to support consolidated reporting, audits, and cross-border financial coordination.
- Payroll, Taxation, and Statutory Compliance:
- Oversee payroll processing, ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, taxes, and provident fund regulations.
- Manage TDS, GST (if applicable), and other statutory filings.
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and ensure up-to-date statutory registers.
- Insurance and Risk Management:
- Procure, review, and renew essential business insurance policies, including public liability insurance and cybersecurity insurance.
- Collaborate with brokers and insurers to ensure appropriate coverage levels based on operational risk profiles.
- Monitor insurance compliance obligations under lease agreements and service contracts.
- Maintain insurance documentation and respond promptly to incidents or claims.
- Financial Instruments and Banking Infrastructure:
- Establish banking relationships, ensuring optimal account structures for operational efficiency.
- Ensure compatibility with accounting platforms like Xero, including potential use of direct bank feeds.
- Support the setup of digital payment systems and vendor management tools.
- Procurement and Office Operations:
- Manage procurement of IT equipment, software licences, and office supplies.
- Coordinate with co-working providers and vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Optimize administrative expenditures for value-for-money and cost efficiency.
- Administrative Leadership and Record-Keeping:
- Develop internal administrative policies and workflows.
- Oversee employee records, contracts, lease agreements, and regulatory filings.
- Support onboarding and coordination with external consultants.
