Mortgage Underwriter Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Underwriter to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying loan applications, reviewing all 4 Cs, evaluating risks, and making loan eligibility decisions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Bachelor's degree in any stream is required.
  • At least 2 years of mandatory experience in US Mortgage is necessary.
  • Proficiency in mortgage calculations and a complete understanding of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac (FNMA/FHLMC) servicing are essential.
  • Strong organization and verbal and written communication skills are also required.
