Skillful Professionals Wanted for Mainframe Development Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and document programs using COBOL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, SAS on IBM Mainframe technologies.
  • Analyze existing systems and program requirements to identify areas for improvement and suggest alternative approaches.
  • Design and write specifications for programs of moderate to high complexity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve production problems and develop test plans to verify logic.
  • Create technical documentation and conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive working experience and expertise in COBOL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, SAS on IBM Mainframe technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to research and analyze complex systems and program requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
