Job Overview

Manage Bancassurance Business and Lead a Team of Relationship Managers

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall bancassurance business in assigned territories through bank branches. This involves leading a team of relationship managers, ensuring achievement of individual and team targets, building strong relationships with key personnel across bank branches, developing and executing sales strategies aligned with organizational goals, conducting regular branch visits and joint customer calls with bank staff, providing product training, sales tools, and motivation to the team and bank partners, ensuring smooth coordination between bank staff and internal stakeholders, analyzing sales performance and preparing timely MIS/reports for management review, identifying new business opportunities and driving expansion of insurance penetration, and ensuring compliance with regulatory norms and internal processes across all branches.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in life insurance sales, preferably in the bancassurance channel.
  • At least 2-3 years of team handling experience and bank relationship management.
  • Graduate (any discipline); MBA preferred.
