About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architecture Lead to join our team at HDFC Bank. As a key member of our IT organization, you will play a vital role in shaping the bank's cloud strategy and ensuring the successful implementation of cloud-based solutions.

With over 10 years of experience in system design and architecture patterns, particularly in India scale systems, you will be responsible for providing recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions, performing design, development, debug, and performance analysis on solutions, and documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze technology environments, enterprise specifics, and requirements, and set up collaboration frameworks to create solution prototypes and participate in technology selection. Additionally, you will advocate for process improvements and help develop solutions, regularly communicate new features and benefits to partners, customers, and other stakeholders, and provide technical leadership to a team throughout the project lifecycle.

This is a technical resource role that also requires handling non-technical tasks. You will interact with business teams for clarifications and project scheduling/prioritization, coordinate with vendors to translate business requirements into technical requirements, implement requirements involving new SOA services or enhancements to existing services, prepare documentation for IT Governance processes, assist vendor teams in deployments and debugging issues by reviewing log files, and coordinate with infrastructure teams for procurement of new hardware or software licenses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions using cloud-scale technologies such as Kubernetes, service mesh, containers, and active-active sites
  • Analyze and document requirements, set up collaboration frameworks, and create solution prototypes
  • Advocate for process improvements, help develop solutions, and communicate new features and benefits to stakeholders
  • Provide technical leadership to a team throughout the project lifecycle
  • Interact with business teams, vendors, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful project execution
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in system design and architecture patterns, particularly in India scale systems
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes, service mesh, containers, and active-active sites
  • Strong understanding of Java/J2EE, Android/iOS, React Native/ReactJs, and databases
  • Deployment and testing skills, including experience with WAR/JAR files, deployment on application servers such as WebLogic, and web servers
  • Basic SQL queries and database knowledge, preferably Oracle 11G
  • Understanding of security basics, HTTPS, certificates, encryption/decryption, HSM, 2-way SSL, firewall rules, and IT hardware basics
  • Conceptual understanding of basic programming concepts, MQ queues, and DNS and load balancing
Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is ₹25,00,000 - ₹35,00,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
