Key Role of an IT Support Analyst

The IT Support Analyst plays a pivotal role in the organization's IT operations by serving as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the initial point of contact in the IT support call centre, addressing and resolving technical inquiries with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Offers expert technical assistance to both internal and external clients, including radiologists, ensuring seamless support and streamlined solutions.
  • Provides onsite support to radiologists, visiting their homes when necessary to resolve technical issues and maintain optimal system performance.
  • Diagnoses and resolves fundamental technical issues related to hardware and software, leveraging knowledge and experience to provide effective resolutions.
  • Configures, deploys, and supports end-user computing systems, guaranteeing high-quality user experiences.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in IT support, with a proven track record of providing top-notch technical assistance.
  • Familiarity with healthcare applications and excellent understanding of application and hardware troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to various stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with workstation build processes and proficiency in working with HL7 integration engines.
  • Knowledge of PACS/RIS software and DICOM standards, with a keen interest in advancing these technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with radiologists/clinicians, fostering strong relationships and delivering tailored support solutions.
