Job Title: Strategic Finance Leader

The Strategic Finance Leader will be responsible for overseeing the corporate finance function, integrating financial planning and analysis with accounting.

This role requires a strong understanding of cost accruals, financial actualization, and month-end closing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Accrual Management: Oversee cost accruals process, ensuring accurate recording and accounting in line with financial policies and timelines.
  • Financial Actualization: Ensure costs are accurately actualized in the financial system based on invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.
  • Month-End Close Process: Manage timely and accurate recording of accruals and other relevant financial entries.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with business units and finance teams to gather, verify, and discuss data related to cost accruals and financial actualization.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and review monthly reports on cost accruals and variances.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve cost accrual and book closing processes for better efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7+ years of experience in cost accounting, financial reporting, or a related finance role.
  • Strong understanding of cost accruals, financial actualization, and month-end closing processes.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and ERP software.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse business and finance teams.
