Senior Synthesis Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Synthesis Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for performing logical and physical synthesis of blocks in IP.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Design Synthesis: Perform logical and physical synthesis of blocks in IP to ensure optimal performance, area, and power consumption.
- Design Analysis: Analyze and verify that the design meets requirements for functionality, performance, and area.
- Design Constraints: Define synthesis design constraints and resolve Static Timing Analysis (STA) issues.
- Timing Analysis: Analyze timing arcs and liberty quality, and provide suggestions for fixing timing violations.
- Design Quality Checks: Complete all design quality checks and data quality checks (CDC/RDC/LINT/No clock flops etc).
- Collaboration: Work with RTL engineers to fix timing issues.
- Tool Evaluation: Drive new tool evaluation and methodology refinement.
- ECO Implementation: Develop/enhance auto ECO generation scripts for timing closure and ECO implementation.
- Power Optimization: Perform low-power optimizations using UPF.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Synopsys tools for ASIC synthesis and timing constraints.
- Strong background in Timing analysis and CDC.
- Experience in CDC/RDC/LINT closure.
- Familiarity with power intent definition, implementation (UPF).
- Knowledge of various implementation and architectural techniques for low power optimization.
- Verilog and System Verilog.
- Perl/TCL/Makefile scripting.
- Power Analysis using Power Artist and PTPX.
- LEC, LP signoff tools.
- VLSI front end design steps.
