Culinary Associate

Job Overview:

As a Culinary Associate, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. This role requires attention to detail, organization, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare cold foods such as salads and appetizers
  • Operate kitchen equipment like ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
  • Monitor food quality while preparing food and ensure that dishes are presented in an appealing manner
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
  • Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently

Requirements:

  • Frequently stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time or for the entire work shift
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
