Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Magento 2 Developer with extensive experience in both backend and frontend development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and maintaining high-performance Magento stores, developing custom themes and extensions, optimizing site performance, and working with modern eCommerce tech stacks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and SEO-optimized Magento solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining custom Magento 2 themes, extensions, and integrations">
  • Working on frontend development using LESS, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, and Knockout.js">
  • Optimizing store performance for high-traffic, high-order environments">
  • Implementing and managing Magento caching strategies using Redis, Varnish, and built-in Magento cache">
  • Developing and optimizing search functionality using Elasticsearch or OpenSearch">
  • Performing debugging using tools like Xdebug, Magento logs, and developer toolbar">
  • Ensuring SEO best practices are followed, including structured data, canonical URLs, clean markup, and site speed improvements">
  • Configuring and maintaining Apache/Nginx web servers for Magento hosting">
  • Collaborating with design, QA, and product teams to deliver robust and user-friendly e-commerce experiences">
  • Maintaining code quality through code reviews and testing">
  • Integrating third-party APIs and extensions efficiently">
  • Staying up to date with Magento security patches, new releases, and industry trends">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • ">
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Magento 2 development">
  • Strong PHP skills and solid experience with at least one PHP framework (Laravel, Symfony, Zend, etc.)">
  • Deep knowledge of Magento's architecture, module development, and customization best practices">
  • Proficient in frontend development: LESS, CSS, Knockout.js, JavaScript, HTML5">
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and implementation in Magento">
  • Experience using Xdebug and other debugging/profiling tools">
  • Experience configuring and optimizing Apache or Nginx for Magento">
  • Comfortable with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch setup and tuning">
  • Experience with Magento cache systems and performance optimization">
  • Experience in large-scale eCommerce stores with high order volumes">
  • Familiarity with major Magento extensions (e.g., Amasty, Mirasvit, AheadWorks)">
  • Experience with other eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce, Shopify, or BigCommerce is a plus">
  • Solid experience with MySQL and database performance tuning">
  • Git version control and experience working in Agile/Scrum">
