About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned business development professional to drive growth and expansion in our specialty chemicals manufacturing company. As a Business Development Lead, you will play a critical role in establishing and executing strategic plans to penetrate new markets and strengthen existing relationships with key customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute BD strategies for specialty flame retardant chemicals and ingredients used for masterbatch manufacturing.
- Identify potential customers across plastics, textiles, construction, and electronics industries.
- Build strong relationships with OEMs, compounders, and distributors.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to position products effectively.
- Drive sales growth, pricing strategy, and product positioning.
- Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor landscape.
- Ensure smooth coordination from sampling to order finalization and after-sales support.
Requirements:
- Experience in sales or business development of flame retardant chemicals.
- Strong technical understanding, market mapping, and customer engagement skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
