Backend Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for designing scalable APIs, integrating structured data with AI models, and ensuring the reliability of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain backend services and APIs for core CRM objects.
  • Integrate Large Language Models with structured data through function calling and other AI-driven workflows.
  • Implement systems that ensure AI outputs are traceable and reliable.
  • Develop and optimize data models in Postgres/Prisma with optional analytics layers.
  • Build secure, multi-tenant features with Role-Based Access Control and audit logging.
  • Support embeddings and vector search for intelligent free-text queries.
  • Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in backend development.
  • Strong skills in Node.js/NestJS or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency in REST & GraphQL API design.
  • Experience with databases like Postgres using Prisma or TypeORM.
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs and AI/ML workflows.
  • Understanding of event-driven systems.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a remote team.
