End-to-End Supply Chain Management Role

This is a critical role for managing end-to-end supply chain functions. The position involves production planning and control, plant sourcing, warehouse operations, logistics, scrap management, SCM data analysis, MIS reporting, and project coordination.

The Plant Supply Chain Manager will oversee the entire supply chain process to ensure efficient, cost-effective manufacturing operations. This includes managing inventory levels, monitoring stock ageing, initiating timely disposal or consumption plans, and maintaining optimal warehouse space utilization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Production planning and scheduling to ensure zero downtime
  • Procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables in a timely manner
  • Inventory management, including maintaining optimal inventory levels and monitoring stock ageing
  • Warehousing and logistics, ensuring on-time deliveries and effective space utilization
  • Cost optimization through lean methodologies and process improvements

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Engineering, Science, or Commerce (Supply Chain or MBA preferred)
  • 12-20 years of relevant experience in supply chain or operations management
  • Strong understanding of production planning, MRP, logistics, and warehousing practices
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
