Business Leader - Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh India Insurance Brokers Pvt Ltd. This role will be based in Mumbai.

Executive Vice President – Marsh Multinational (EH&B and Non-EH&B)

Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business opportunities and retain large accounts.

The ideal candidate should be able to drive discussions with senior executives and directors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cross-sell products with existing clients.
  • Provide claims advocacy and servicing expertise.
  • Develop knowledge of various insurers, their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Identify key decision-makers, client or prospect risks, needs, and determine the services, products, and combinations that will best serve and address the client/prospect's issues and objectives.
  • Conduct gap analysis of existing policies, suggest better terms, and negotiate with markets.
  • Retain and expand existing client relationships.
  • Build and maintain effective networks within the business community and industry.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Visit insurance companies regularly for continuous engagement with different stakeholders.
  • Manage teams effectively.
Requirements:
  • Ability to manage and build relationships with internal and external customers, insurance partners, and servicing vendors.
  • Domain knowledge is preferred.
  • MBA degree.
  • Technical knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • 10-15 years of corporate relationship management experience from a service background.
  • Ability to manage diverse client cultures of Indian corporate, MNC corporation, and PSU clients.
  • Experience in insurance companies/insurance broking companies.
  • Proven track record of success in sales roles with a focus on driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
  • Deep understanding of employer market segment and their unique demands and purchasing style.
  • Ability to establish relationships and work collaboratively with teams at all levels to effectively close business.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies in a competitive market environment.
  • Interest and aptitude in keeping abreast of latest developments in Health And Benefits Space.
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
