SQA Software Engineer

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes. As an SQA Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and continuously improving software quality processes to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure software solutions.
- Develop and maintain QA documentation, including release protocols, quality control plans, and process guidelines.
- Conduct software process audits to verify adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, implement, and maintain software quality assurance (QA) processes, standards, and policies.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Agile, DevOps, and SDLC practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality checkpoints across every stage of development.
- Lead initiatives to identify and implement software process improvements for enhanced product reliability and faster delivery.
- Define, measure, and monitor software quality metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and code quality.
- Support risk management and change control activities for all software releases.
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for recurring or critical quality issues.
- Conduct training sessions and provide support to team members on QA standards and compliance practices.
The following skills are required for this position:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, SQA, or similar role.
• Deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Strong hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with API testing, performance testing, and UI automation.
• Good command over SQL and scripting languages for data validation and test automation.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments and DevOps pipelines.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
