SQA Engineer

AS A SQA, YOU WILL:

  • Define, implement, and maintain software quality assurance processes, policies, and standards.
  • Monitor compliance with internal software development processes (Agile, DevOps, SDLC) and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct software process audits to ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, CMMI).
  • Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to integrate quality best practices across the SDLC.
  • Ensure proper documentation of development processes, release protocols, and quality control measures.
  • Identify and track software process improvement opportunities and drive implementation initiatives.
  • Define and monitor software quality metrics (e.g., code quality, defect leakage, process compliance).
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring quality issues.
  • Support risk management and change control processes for software releases.
  • Provide training and support to cross-functional teams on quality assurance standards and compliance.

Required Skills

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter).
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
