This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead product development as a key liaison between the product management and engineering teams. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for translating product strategy into clear, actionable backlogs, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features for Fortune 100 clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage product backlogs for assigned engineering teams, creating, refining, and prioritizing user stories and acceptance criteria based on the product roadmap and business value.
- Act as the voice of the customer and Product Manager within the sprint team, participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Provide clarification and deeper understanding of user stories and business requirements to the development team.
- Write clear, concise, and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria and dependencies, enabling engineers to build solutions with minimal ambiguity.
- Review and accept completed work, ensuring it meets the definition of done and original requirements before release to QA or production.
- Facilitate effective communication between engineering, UX/UI, and the broader product team to ensure alignment and remove roadblocks.
- Understand technical implications of product decisions and work with the engineering team to manage technical debt and ensure sustainable development practices.
- 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Proven experience working directly with an Agile development team and managing a product backlog.
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to translate complex product requirements into clear, actionable user stories.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and stakeholders.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset, with the ability to unblock teams and keep projects moving forward.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Azure DevOps.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science).
- Experience in the Marketing Technology (MarTech) or demand generation space.
- Experience with data-intensive or integration-heavy products.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certification.
- High-impact execution: Be the engine behind a dedicated engineering team, delivering high-value features for Fortune 100 clients efficiently and on time.
