Mainframe z/OS Automation Expert

Shaping the technology that drives our world, you'll develop, test, and maintain software controlling a computer's operating system, hardware, and systems software. Your masterful troubleshooting skills will fix complex issues, ensuring the security of our computer systems.

You'll work closely with IT professionals to design and implement cutting-edge technology, providing underlying Mainframe operating system platform programming and DBDC subsystem programming support.

As a leader in this field, you'll conduct RCA discussions and provide technical guidance to teams. You may manage departments on a national or international level, defining objectives and managing resources for project success.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ Yrs experience in Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of IBM Z/OS Mainframe Automation products.
  • Patching, testing, upgrades, installation. Coding for Z/OS, REXX, Tivoli Netview, Systems Automation for Z/OS, WAC (IBM Worldwide Automation Configurator), COBOL, RPG, JCL, PROCS.
  • Able to work with automation tools such as CA-OPS/MVS, BMC Auto OPERATOR, BMC MainView Console Management, IBM SA, z/OS and NetView, AF-OPERATOR.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • IP L (Initial Program Load) and DR (Disaster Recovery) support.
  • Resolve Automation issues.
