Warehouse Management Consultant

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP WM and experience with ABAP programming.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, Develop, and Implement Custom Solutions: Utilize ABAP to design, develop, and implement custom solutions for Warehouse Management processes.
  • Translate Business Requirements: Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Develop RICEFW Objects: Develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW) objects for WM processes.
  • Enhance and Support Configurations: Enhance and support existing SAP WM configurations and custom developments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WM transactions and warehouse operations efficiently.
  • Ensure Smooth Integration: Ensure smooth integration with MM, SD, and LE modules to maximize system efficiency.
  • Participate in System Upgrades: Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning to maintain system stability.
  • Prepare Technical Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and end-user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: Strong ABAP programming skills, including BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, SmartForms, and ALV Reports.
  • Warehouse Management Experience: Expertise in WM processes, including putaway, picking, transfer orders, stock movements, and inventory management.
  • Integration Knowledge: Solid understanding of SAP integration with MM, SD, and preferably EWM.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: SAP certification in WM or Logistics Execution is preferred.
  • S/4HANA Experience: Experience with SAP S/4HANA and embedded EWM is an added advantage.
  • Fiori/UI5 Familiarity: Familiarity with Fiori/UI5 and OData services enhances our ideal candidate's profile.
  • Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
