SAP Finance and Controlling Lead

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned SAP Finance and Controlling professional to join our team as a Module Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and management of SAP Finance and Controlling processes, ensuring seamless integration with other business functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance SAP solutions for finance department processes, including defining scope and documenting business needs.
  • Ensure best practice design and implementation of SAP solutions for finance processes, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure.
  • Support technical architecture analysis, research, design, and development, including integration with key applications and services within the SAP ecosystem.
  • Provide architecture and design guidance to development and functional teams, leveraging common technical elements and avoiding duplication of work.
  • Monitor the progress of FI/CO Module and team, ensuring all processes are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or equivalent in a related field, such as business administration or finance.
  • Advanced degree preferred (MBA Finance).
  • Certification in SAP: Preferred (FI/CO Module).
  • 10+ years of overall SAP experience with strong functional knowledge of sales, manufacturing, or other enterprise processes using SAP, with specialization in finance and controlling module.
  • Minimum of 7 years prior experience in managing a large-scale SAP-related program in the capacity of Module Lead.
Preferred Skills:
  • SAP S4/Hana – At least 2-3 implementation projects (Green Field or Migration).
  • Strong knowledge of parallel accounting, transfer pricing, and material ledger functionality in SAP.
  • Knowledge of SAP FI/CO Module, interaction between FICO and other modules like MM, SD, PP etc.
  • Global experience in terms of legal requirements, especially tax, banking, electronic reporting.
  • Accounts payable – Shared Services.
  • Group Reporting.
  • Deep knowledge of diverse areas of technology, including ERP, master data, electronic banking, FSCM etc.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or life science industry preferred.
  • Experience in fast-paced global multinational matrix organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively engage and influence business team members/stakeholders and manage project teams.
