Release Manager and DevOps Engineer

We seek an experienced professional to lead our release management and DevOps initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating change requests, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving automation-driven delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Release Management
  • Plan, schedule, and manage software releases across multiple environments ensuring timely and quality delivery with minimal disruption.
  • Maintain release calendars and coordinate with stakeholders for alignment.

Change Request (CR) Management

  • Create, track, and manage CRs through their lifecycle ensuring compliance with internal governance and external audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to assess impact and risk.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams facilitating release readiness meetings and post-release reviews.
  • Resolve conflicts and dependencies across teams to ensure smooth delivery.

DevOps & Automation

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps.
  • Monitor and optimize deployment processes for scalability and reliability.
  • Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Release Management and DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile processes.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages Shell, Python, Groovy.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with version control systems Git, ticketing tools JIRA, ServiceNow, and monitoring tools.
