Job Title: AI Release Manager

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on professional to oversee the release journey of our AI product on Google Cloud.

This role combines release management discipline with cloud engineering expertise, requiring the ability to plan, coordinate across teams, automate pipelines, and ensure new features and models reach production seamlessly.

The ideal candidate will bring clarity during fast-paced AI deployments, building systems that prevent issues before they occur.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Orchestrate the end-to-end release lifecycle from planning and stakeholder alignment to Go/No-Go, deployment, and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate across Engineering, QA, MLOps, and Product teams to ensure every release is smooth, reliable, and bug-free.
  • Lead CAB reviews and release readiness checks to minimize risk.
  • Build and manage automation-first release pipelines on Google Cloud (GKE, Cloud Build, Terraform, Python).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud environment or configuration issues during releases.
  • Develop observability dashboards that give real-time visibility into release health.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in release management, including CAB meetings, Go/No-Go facilitation, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong Google Cloud expertise, including GKE, IAM, Networking, Storage, and Cloud Build.
  • Hands-on skills in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and Python automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML product release cycles is preferred.
