Wireless Connectivity Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled wireless connectivity specialist to lead our team in developing innovative WLAN Linux device drivers.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in embedded C programming, particularly with WLAN driver development and debugging.
  • You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance WLAN Linux device drivers (preferably 802.11ax).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for driver integration, validation, and testing to ensure seamless wireless connectivity.
  • Ensure software quality, performance, and compliance with industry standards by applying rigorous testing methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Device Driver Development: Design, develop, and maintain WLAN Linux device drivers (preferably 802.11ax) to meet stringent performance and reliability requirements.
  2. Firmware Enhancement: Contribute to WLAN firmware development (802.11ac / 802.11n) to enhance wireless system performance and efficiency.
  3. Debugging and Optimization: Identify and resolve complex issues related to wireless system performance and functionality through thorough debugging and optimization techniques.
  4. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate, validate, and test WLAN device drivers to ensure optimal performance and interoperability.
  5. Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance processes to guarantee software quality, performance, and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Embedded C Programming: Strong expertise in embedded C programming with hands-on experience in WLAN driver development and debugging.
  • Linux OS Internals: In-depth knowledge of Linux OS internals and its application in WLAN device driver development.
  • WLAN Driver Development: Proven track record of developing and maintaining high-performance WLAN Linux device drivers.
  • Networking Protocols: Excellent understanding of networking protocols and wireless communication domains.
