Role Overview:

Hyperworks Imaging seeks a highly motivated GIS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience as a Geospatial specialist and demonstrate a strong grasp of ArcGIS, python and javascript with the ability to deploy scalable solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deploy and maintain connectors to customer interfaces
  • Analyze, review and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, and debugging 
  • Ensure that software can be completely integrated into the customer's system. 
  • Coordinate software integration and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ArcGIS Desktop /Pro, Enterprise Geodatabase, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Python and understanding how to build high-performance UI applications capable of visualizing large amounts of data.
  • Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., React, HTML, JavaScript, CSS languages and frameworks).
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud is preferable.
  • Proven experience developing dynamic front-end web applications.
  • Writing clean code with well-defined abstractions that reduce complexity.
  • Passionate about implementing responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Knowledge and Utilization of REST API and other web services for integrating.
  • Experience with at least one RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and strong SQL skills.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration.
  • Master's degree, GIS, Geographic Science, Computer Science, Survey Engineering, Related Field, or related bachelor's degree with some relevant experience.
