Exciting Opportunity for Environmental Clearance Expertise

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our environmental clearance efforts. As Head Approvals - Environment Clearance & Forest Clearance, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and obtaining necessary clearances for our mining operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement environment management plans (EMPs) to minimize the impact of our operations on the environment
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies to obtain environment clearance (EC), CTE and CTO
  • Ensure compliance with EC, CTE and CTO
  • Obtain stage-1 and stage-2 Forest Clearance for the mine and obtaining Forest Clearance of over land conveyor corridor (OLCC) of the project, whenever required
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A postgraduate degree in Geology or Environmental Sciences, or a relevant engineering qualification
  • At least 10 years of experience in environmental clearance and management
  • Proven track record of obtaining environment and forest clearances for green field mines
